Hello and welcome to my colourful world of illustration and surface pattern design.
I’m Gaynor, a surface pattern designer, illustrator and sewing tutor with over 30 years’
professional experience in the creative industry.
I create unique and colourful designs featuring things that I’m passionate about such as wildlife, the natural world, and of course family. Simple shapes and bright colours echo my fondness for mid-20th Century illustration and design, the result of having grown up in the 60’s and 70’s and a childhood that was full of clashing colours and bold motifs.
I like to add a dash of whimsy too, which is why I especially enjoy designing for the children’s market. However, I like to think there is something for everyone to enjoy.
